The Moose Festival art exhbit in Canaan, Vermont will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026. As part of the exhibit, the Connecticut River Artisan Group sponsors the “People’s Choice” art show, featuring the work of area visual artists. The event is open to anyone.
Artists may drop off their original art work (Paintings, Photographs, 3D Art) at the CRAG tent between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m., the morning of August 29th. Each artist may submit up to three pieces of art in each category. All paintings and photographs must have a wire suitable for hanging.
Visitors to the exhibit will be asked to vote for their favorite piece of art. Judging will be open to visitors until 1 p.m. Winners will be announced at 2 p.m. and ribbons will be awarded. Artists should be prepared to leave their work on exhibit until 3:00 p.m. and should make arrangements to remove their work at that time.

Winners in the 3D category are: First Place, “Blue Blue Owl”, Lori Bach; Second Place, “Baby Bear”, Carol Reynolds.
